Adjusting to life as a family presents many challenges for new parents. It can be an exciting time, but it is also very normal to feel anxious about the big changes a little one can bring into your life. Join us for Parent Baby Connection, a hands-on interactive workshop for one evening that helps new and expectant parents learn about topics such as:
• the changes of roles within their home that happen with a new baby
• basic newborn baby care techniques such as bathing, feeding, and diapering
• safety measures for newborns like proper carseat setup
• caring for a new mother and postpartum support
Plus much more!
Learn “how-to” and explore these topics through hands-on stations that you can work through at your own pace. You will leave feeling prepared and confident in your journey into parenthood!
Single parents, couples, and those planning to adopt are all welcome to attend. Cost is $25 per couple for the one-night workshop and includes registration, dinner, and workshop materials to take home. Workshops are held each quarter. Contact WITC for more information about future dates.
Registration is limited! Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Click to download the registration form, and please register in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for payment information or call 910.364.9482.
